BLM PROTESTS 2020
Photo essay shot in the summer of 2020 as the BLM protests erupted across the U.S. after George Floyd's death. This project was shot across various parts of Los Angeles during the month of June, which also marked the fourth month of U.S. covid restrictions. A set of these images were featured in Flood Magazine's Protest Issue as well as Rolling Stone's July 2020 back cover .

Bernie Sanders and his campaign arrive in Los Angeles as he gears up for his 2020 presidential run. The event which took place in March, 2020 included musical guests Public Enemy, Ana Tijoux and other public figures in support of the campaign. The photo essay aims to highlight the energy of a political rally with the power of live music, showing how both intercross and influence one another. Images from the Maya Angelou Mural Festival which brought together 33 incredible artists from all over the world to create over 25 murals at the Dr. Maya Angelou community high school.
